How I Keep Looking Up/Como Sigo Mirando Hacia Arriba/仰望
PEACE & EQUALITY
It's hard to live here in America and this flag represents my experience here.
The sun represents a government which warms everyone equally. The house acknowledges the difficulty that working-class immigrants face to become homeowners. The roof is made of abstracted, interlocked hands, for different races working together in unity. There’s a peace sign inside the house to indicate my vision of life in a safe, prosperous, and stable home.
PAZ E IGUALDAD
